Oktober fun

In the month of oktober nothing really special happened. I spend most of the weekdays at home, to relax and take it really easy. I had too, since I just didn't have energy for more. Gradually it is coming all back. Pfew!

The weekends were the opposite though! A lot of guests, outings, fun and friends. Our life is so interesting.

We all LOVE the weekends. Steven had a few sleepovers at Emalu's. That is his best friend here in Hong Kong. They understand one another with a few words. But at evening time, they don't need a few words, they just can't stop talking.... so often we have to plead with them to go to sleep.

Lynn is specially happy with the new workers in the factory in Shenzhen: Sarah and Helene. She sensed very quickly that these girls have real love and care in their hearts. She sighed one day: oh Sarah, you and Tessa are my best friends. Aaaaaah. And I love it so much to have them! They stayed over one weekend and we also couldn't stop talking. Finally some girl company in the weekends! Yihaah!

The last day of Oktober we "celebrated" Haloween. It is not my kind of feast, but anyway. The kids loved to dress up. This year they wanted to go as a Starwars soldier......... Even Lynn....... The youth took them for a trick and treat in Fairview Park. They were disappointed when they came to our house and the lights were all off. They thought we were not there. The door was open so they all came in anyway. When they finally where inside, Marco scared them with a scary costume and a flashlight under his chin. Fun!
